Saints & Scenarios: Ancient People. Modern Arguments.
What’s in the box?
60 Saints
60 Biblical figures, each with a brief description of what the Bible tells us about them. Sized to fit a poker-sized card, the descriptions are short, punchy, and sometimes witty, without turning Scripture’s people into caricatures.
80 Scenarios
80 modern-day scenarios designed to spark debate, creativity, and a little friendly chaos. Each scenario puts a Biblical figure in a situation they never actually faced, but just might have an opinion about. Some player favs have been, “Who would host the most chaotic Youtube channel?” and, “Who would be the youth camp leader everyone wants to see again next year?”
1 Advocate
Jesus is the WildCard! Or as we call Him, The Advocate (card). A player willing to pull this card is laying down their turn to advocate for another player’s case in that round.
Get it? The “lay down your right” part?! Like… what Jesus did… on the Cross…
Anyway, the instruction sheet tells you just how the Advocate moves during the game!
What are my options?
We deal in connecting with Scripture through stories.
No one told stories quite like Jesus.
The word parable is most closely associated with the fictional stories Jesus told. They involved ordinary people and relatable situations that pointed to something much bigger: the Kingdom of God, the human heart, and the way we live in the world.
At The Parable Lab, we believe a good story can still make us think, laugh, wrestle, and see Scripture in a new way. Saints & Scenarios is one of the ways we connect with Scripture through storytelling, imagination, and play.
It’s part of a bigger collection of projects designed to bring ancient truths into modern conversations; one story, one question, and one unexpected scenario at a time.
